How to Use Hashtags on YouTube

It's hard to get views on YouTube, and stay ahead of the curve ... but here's a little simple tip that not everybody knows about yet ...

Simply add the hashtag in the text of your description, just as you would with any other social media profile, using one word like #wordpress, or two or more words like #healthyliving.

YouTube will then automatically find the hashtag within your description, no matter where you put it. This means that your video will be findable when people click on a hashtag from another video, or simply search using the hashtag.

The hashtags will also be visible under your video, and above the title.
